Our "snowy" winter

I think these pictures were taken in December.
For the first time in years, we had enough snow to close the schools down for days! Not once, but twice.
Both times we were at the gym when it started. Sometime around 6:45 in the evening someone came in and told us we should probably think about sending the kids home (work out isn't done until 8:30). We looked outside from the office windows, and it was barely snowing.
By 7:15 people were calling the gym telling us it was REALLY coming down and they were having trouble getting down to the gym; we looked outside and there was about 6 inches already! YIKES
I started out to get the kids from my parent's house who live just 3 miles from the gym. It was snowing so hard, I could hardly see 3o feet in front of me. The roads up to their house were closed, so I turned around and headed home. My dad's truck is 4 wheel drive so he packed them up and brought the boys home. As you can see, Jeff's truck was home. He was driving his little car. :)
The storm started in the Seattle area (Northwest of us) and proceeded to head Southeast towards my parent's house, the gym and then finally over to our house. The gym and my parents had 4-6 more inches than we had.

So, here are a couple of pictures of the house.

Garrett had a blast playing and sledding in the snow.

Colton wasn't too crazy about getting the snow on him, but he did enjoy sledding.

I know, Garrett totally looks like Jeff. BUT, Colton has his personality...........the good parts and the "develish" parts. :)
I don't know when we'll get down there. Jeff handles all that sort of stuff. Lots of "stuff" going on right now, hopefully soon!
