Our "snowy" winter

I think these pictures were taken in December.
For the first time in years, we had enough snow to close the schools down for days! Not once, but twice.
Both times we were at the gym when it started. Sometime around 6:45 in the evening someone came in and told us we should probably think about sending the kids home (work out isn't done until 8:30). We looked outside from the office windows, and it was barely snowing.
By 7:15 people were calling the gym telling us it was REALLY coming down and they were having trouble getting down to the gym; we looked outside and there was about 6 inches already! YIKES
I started out to get the kids from my parent's house who live just 3 miles from the gym. It was snowing so hard, I could hardly see 3o feet in front of me. The roads up to their house were closed, so I turned around and headed home. My dad's truck is 4 wheel drive so he packed them up and brought the boys home. As you can see, Jeff's truck was home. He was driving his little car. :)
The storm started in the Seattle area (Northwest of us) and proceeded to head Southeast towards my parent's house, the gym and then finally over to our house. The gym and my parents had 4-6 more inches than we had.

So, here are a couple of pictures of the house.

Garrett had a blast playing and sledding in the snow.

Colton wasn't too crazy about getting the snow on him, but he did enjoy sledding.

Random

Garrett painting a christmas ornament for his tree.
He's really concentrating!

One of his classmates had a birthday party at the bowling alley.
It's a good thing for those bumpers.

Picking blackberries last summer.Last spring, we went to OKC for a gymnastics meet. We drove down to Ft. Worth for a night to visit family. Here we are at Chili's with: Tommy, Mimi and Aunt Tara.

Colton's funny faces

Jeff and the Boys in San Diego

I can't believe it's already been a month since San Deigo. Poor Colton started the trip with a cold. Lucky for me he slept on the plane from take off to landing, and thankfully it didn't bother his ears.
This picture was taken on our last day in La Jolla, by now I was SICK. That's probably why I didn't notice I had an extra couple of people in the background. ;-)

The many moods of Colton

Colton is in constant motion! I'm sure that anyone who knew Jeff when he was little, could sympathize. :)

Colton

Colton in Oklahoma

Eating Watermelon

He had a small (about an inch) silver lure that resembled a fish. Everytime he brought it in, he would say "LOOK, I caught a fish."

Garrett

This is Garrett on our trip to Oklahoma last spring. As you can see he is playing with a Power Ranger.
It's a toss up as to what his favorite is: Dinosaurs or Power Ranger figures.
He is near the end of Kindergarden and has grown up SO much this year. He's almost up to my should now!

Of course he's STILL into Scooby Doo
